Ever need to know what you need to bring on the plane while you travel overseas? These 10 musts will have you prepared!

1. Benadryl or Melatonin

To avoid being jet lagged, bring melatonin or bendryl with you. It's true when they say to get as much sleep as possible when flying overseas. I normally eat dinner and take one right after. It usually gives me a 20 minute buffer of digesting food and drifting to sleep.

2. Hand sanitizer

Airplanes are full of germs; from the seat to the tray to the arm rests. Bring some hand sanitizer to disinfect and stay healthy so you can enjoy the trip!

3. Eye Mask

I've had plenty of times where the person next to me would turn on their light or someone would leave the window open. Grab a cute eye mask and drift away to sleep!

4. Travel Pillow

I've always wanted a travel pillow and I'm finally getting one on my third overseas trip. Most of the time I would wake up to myself creating a triple-chin by digging into my shoulder for support. If you don't have a window seat, it can be difficult trying to find comfort.

5. Travel-sized everything

You will want a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, face wash, advil, make-up remover wipes, neosporin, Loofah, etc. You can find travel-size items in the toiletries area of a Target or Walmart. You'll want to bring some in a baggie to get through TSA. An overnight flight is not an excuse to not brush your teeth or stick up the cabin with body odor.

6. Chargers

Keep any chargers and/or valuables with you in your bag. I normally keep my phone, camera, and GoPro charger in my bag with me and take it during TSA screenings. Most flights have the ability to charge phones via USB port.

7. Power Bank

As stated above, some airplanes have the ability to charge phones via USB port but it could take nearly the entire flight to do so. Bringing a power bank allows better ability to get your items charged more quickly than normal.

8. Extra set of clothes

You may think this is silly to have but in case your luggage is lost, you will be thanking yourself. My high school teacher told us on our first time out of the country to do this. If your luggage ends up missing, you can have a clean pair to change into while your luggage is tracked down.

9. Headphones

You can listen to the in-flight movies or music on your phone during the flight. Sometimes flights will either provide you with a cheap pair or you can get them for cheap. Just bring your own to save some hassle.

10.Your Passport

I highly doubt the agents would have let you onto the plane if you didn't have it but don't forget it in the mix of tickets and wallets. Make sure you have your passport on you at all times or you risk losing it. Sometimes, hotel rooms will have safes where people will store their valuables. You can do this but don't forget it.
