The best seafood and Italian food you will ever eat. Also, the most food you will ever eat!
Maggie Dickson's: We ate here on the first day. The pubs were generally small and we were trying to find the most "Irish" for St. Patrick's Day. We ended up eating Fish and Chips with a side of Peas and Guinness. It wasn't bad but it could've been better. We stuck out like a sore thumb when we realized we needed to order at the counter! Whiski Room: We ate as an entire group here since it was covered in the costs. I had the braised lamb shoulder with a steamy side of a Hot Toddy. It is a restaurant, Whisky bar and Whisky shop. For more information or to make a reservation click here
Whitmuir Organic Cafe: This was a very interesting choice. It wasn't the best meal ever because everything was made fresh and could've added a bit more flavor. There was a limited number of each food item so I got the Black Bean Soup with Beef Stew as the main course. For more information about the cafe or farm, click here
Monteiths: We ate GOOD that night. Between the six of us, we racked up a 200 pound bill. Now that's what I call really impressive. We each had lobster with shoe-string fries. I tried Haggis (yes, I know what it is made of ) and it was surprisingly delicious. I ended my meal with two scoops of Brandy ice cream. Monteiths is on the Royal Mile and you have to go down an alley to get to the stairs leading into the restaurant. Needless to say my friends thought I was dragging them into a murder scene. Tailend: We visited here while in St. Andrews. It was recommend by our tour bus driver, Stuart, and it was delicious! I finessed our way into getting a table after they said it would take 45 minutes. We sat down 5 minutes after that. We all ate Fish and Chips with fresh peas. I had it with a Thistle Cross cider and it was really good. Arguably, the best Fish and Chips ever. Frankenstein Pub: My mom says if I don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all. All I can say is I was sad about the mozzarella stick mishap. They had a good atmosphere to drink and hang out.
Ecco Vino: I want the spaghetti to teleport over to Stillwater, Oklahoma. I got the House special which was everything in my wildest dreams. I could bathe in the spaghetti, that's how good it was. Form ore information about this heavenly spaghetti, click here

Glen Nevis Restaurant: This was another planned dinner through our program. I had the Steak Pale Ale with a glass of Zinfandel Rose. The pale ale was like uncovering the furnace of hell but it was pretty good once it cooled down. We finished off our meal with a raspberry parfait. Black Isle Bar: We stopped in Iverness on our way back from the highlands. This bar was a part of a hotel and had a secret garden! Unfortunately, it had been raining so the garden looked highly unpleasant to hang out in. We ended up getting three pizzas: Mushroom, Goat cheese and Mediterranean. The place also brews its own organic alcohol that you can tour! Find out more here
Bar Napoli: I don't know what it is about really good Italian food in Scotland but I could bathe in this spaghetti. The garlic bread came out in pizza form I am nearly positive I ordered the Tagliatelle Bar Napoli. We finished off the night with a bottle of Prosecco and tiramisu. Tip: make reservations. We were lucky to get in without one but just to be on the safe side! Also, never let the waiter try to talk you out of buying a bottle of Prosecco for yourself. You're better than that. Applejacks: We stopped in Callender for lunch and we decided to try Applejacks. It had everything from sandwiches to milkshakes. I had the goat cheese bagel burger and it wasn't too shabby. My friend had the "London Fog" drink and she couldn't handle it. Find out how you can get a goat cheese bagel burger here
