Their specialty is biscuits so get ready.

Hunny Bunny's is on 23rd street and Walker. Steps away from the Tower Theatre.

Be smart and do not go around lunch time. Even though it is technically a lunch joint, we got there right when things were crazy. It is a combination of quick service and sit-down service. You immediately are immersed in a line of people. It is a very cute, modern café that definitely attractions the attention.

Here is how you maneuver this restaurant:

1. Get in line- or try to find the line. There should be someone there sitting people according to when they arrived. I made the mistake and sat down when someone got up.

2. Order and Pay- You'll go straight to the front and order what you want. They'll give you a number card and that will be your identity for the rest of the time.

3. Wait- Now you get to have the fun part. Waiting for your table. It is a concept that doesn't often work well but it works well for them. More than likely someone will bring you your drinks while you wait off to the side.

4. Rest- I know, so much hard work for the food. It'll be worth it.

5. Eat- Well, they initially gave me the wrong food. But, the food made up for it by the time I was done.

Now that we got through the steps, let's talk about it. I ordered the "Truck Stop" with a mimosa. Technically, two mimosas. Thanks, Emily. The Truck Stop consists of two eggs your way, sausage or bacon, and a biscuit covered in gravy. The sausage was a bit spicy for my taste but everything else was super delicious.

The Truck Stop

Emily, had a cinnamon roll with a classic egg and sausage sandwich.

The best part about the place is that you don't have to worry about reservations. Parking is either next to the building or diagonal from it!
