Even though Oklahoma is landlocked, there's still a blue whale in the state of Oklahoma.

On Route 66 in Catoosa, there is a blue whale. It is a historic site built in the 1970s as originally an anniversary gift to someone who loved whales.

Now, it is an attraction that has a small gift shop, picnic area, and the whale can be played on. There are 2 small slides, 3 ladders that you can get into the water and a ladder that goes up to the second level of the whale. I highly don't recommend going on the second level since it looks unsafe. I would recommend going there for a swim during the summer but I couldn't tell you what was in the murky water.

Adjacent to the whale, there is a run-down ship and metal mushrooms. Don't ask me why there is but it was closed off with a trespass sign on the gate.

It is definitely fun to go to and see the blue whale of Catoosa, even though it looks like a slight horror scene of Pinocchio.
