Time to get Nutty on Route 66 in Claremore, Oklahoma!

The Nut House was advertised at The Blue Whale so I figured 3 miles out of the way isn't so bad. Located on the Historic Route 66, the Nut House sells.... you guessed it, Nuts. They have a wide variety of nuts, jam and fudge. They've been in business for over 40 years and the building is an actual log cabin using pecan trees.

There is also a deli called "Hot Mama's Deli" where you can grab lunch in. We primarily went to check it out only to find a beaver cut-out. They have a diner-themed room in the back to enjoy your meal! I tried the Tiger Butter fudge that tasted like reeses cup in fudge form. I also tried the Pumpkin Praline and it was to die for. They make the fudge fresh in the Route 66 nut house kitchens.

The rest was mainly unique gifts and a rest place for travelers but it is a truly, nutty place.
